In Cape Town we often hear that Johannesburg gets all the best concerts and festivals. This was true in most cases but one. The Cape Town Festival of Beer! We have even heard stories of people traveling from KZN, PE and Gauteng to come and join the revelry of Cape Town’s biggest beer fest.

Well, this weekend, 6, 7 and 8 September 2013, local and international breweries have gotten together under one tent to take 150 beers to the City of Gold for the Joburg Festival of Beer! Get ready Jozi for a weekend of everything beer! Guided tours, blind tastings, food and beer pairings, free beer sampling, live music and a GIANT beer pong tournament! Is there a Joburger who can beat our lovely local Lucy and taste over 100 beers on offer?
