It’s a beautiful (Springbok) Friday in the Mother City and we’re all looking forward to an awesome weekend of sporting excitement and relaxing fun! Of course not everyone out there is rugby mad but it is great to drive around and see how many people are kitted out in Green & Gold in support of the Springboks tomorrow – but I know of a big group of people who are mentally preparing for a fun run event at Blaauwklippen Wine Estate tomorrow (17 September 2011).
It’s the Innesense Cellar 2 Cellar 12km Trail Run starting at the beautiful Blaauwklippen Wine Estate, winding through the vineyards to Vriesenhof, followed by Dornier, then off to Kleinood, to Waterford and to Stellenzicht, and finishing again at Blaauwklippen.
The 1st man & woman over the line will win half their weight in wine, but for those who prefer to watch and support from the shade of the gorgeous trees at Blaauwklippen (hopefully with some refreshing Beer Garden SA beverages in hand) there is a best dressed competition and the winners of that will take home their full weight in wine!
We will also be appearing at the regular Laborie Lazy Days Market in Paarl, as well as the very popular Neighbourgoods Markets at the Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock, and the new market at Braamfontein in Johannesburg! If you missed the launch last weekend, get there tomorrow and see what Cape Town has been raving about!
So join us this weekend! Fresh market produce, great craft beer, wine in the wine lands or just to see all the funky people who know what’s good in life! After all, life’s too short for bad beer!
